2.The Shepherds

I admire the shepherds in the Christmas story. They were not worldly or well educated, but they knew an amazing thing when they saw and heard it, and their response was to glorify and praise God. They could have ignored the angels; they could have let fear rule over their actions, either of which might have caused them to stay watching their flocks. Instead, they went to see this thing which the Lord has told them about, and then spread the word. (Luke 2:8-20)
